Fabric Bases
Cotton woven is 100% Cotton and 150 GSM (medium weight).
Cotton Lycra Knit is 95% Cotton, 5% Lycra and is 4 way stretch. (The only difference between the 200GSM, 230GSM and 260GSM is the weight - with the 200 being a great summer knit, the 230 is perfect for all year round and the 260 is used more in the cooler weather.)
Double Brushed Poly is 95% Polyester, 5% Lycra and mechanically combed on both sides and has a soft fuzz feel. It has amazing drape and is good for leggings, dresses and tops.
Minky is 100% Polyester and 200 GSM. Minky is a special type of cuddly, soft, plush fabric that is 100% polyester and is perfect for making blankets, baby blankets, daycare nap mats, baby clothing and baby accessories.
Squish is 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex and 300 GSM. Squish is a super silky, soft, double sided Minky with a 4 way stretch. This fabric is perfect for baby blankets, relaxed fit pants and hoodies for winter. You will just want to wrap yourself in it!
PUL (Polyurethane Laminate) is a lightweight polyester interlock knit 180GSM which is paired with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) a thin stretchy plastic film. PUL is the perfect fabric base for a waterproof outer layer. It's a beautifully soft fabric that can be used to make nappy covers, training pants, swimming covers and a range of other items that require waterproof durability.
Swimwear UPF50+ Sun Protective is 80% Polyester, 20% Lycra and 200 GSM. This fabric has an amazingly soft feel with a high saturation and is great for rashies, swimwear and dance wear.
Muslin Double Gauze is 100% Cotton and 120 GSM
Bullet is 95% Polyester, 5% Lycra and 230 GSM
Bamboo Lycra Knit is 95% Bamboo, 5% Lycra and 200 GSM
Rayon Lycra Knit is 95% Rayon, 5% Lycra and 200 GSM
Cotton French Terry is 95% Cotton, 5% Lycra and 280 GSM. French Terry is soft and plush with a luxurious feel and is great for Winter sews.
Cotton Canvas is 100% Cotton and 250 GSM
Cotton Interlock is 100% Cotton and 200 GSM
Board Short is 100% Polyester and 110GSM - This is the fabric commonly used for making Board Shorts.
